Short presentation and more

I have been working with printmaking for about 25 years and consider it my main way of expression. I work in the black and white register of tones, seeking to create images of landscapes, seen with my outward or inward eyes. Sometimes I get a vision of forgotten or dreamed civilizations.
The technique that I use is intaglio, which means that I make the picture by engraving and etching in copper plates.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden 1950
I have spent seven years in art schools, of which four of them studying printmaking.
Solo exhibitions all over Sweden, from Lulea in the north to Malmö in the south.
Participated in group exhibitions in Sweden, Denmark, France, Holland, Belgium and Spain and in print triennials and biennials in Sweden, former Yugoslavia and Russia.
Scholarships from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee (Konstnärsnämnden) in 2006 and 20011-12.
Scholarship from the Region of West Sweden in 2015.
I am a member of The Swedish Printmaker´s Association(Grafiska Sällskapet, www.grafiskasallskapet.se).
